Origin Trip
Colombia

29. 10. 2026 Cecilie Rolvung

The journey of great coffee starts long before it reaches our roastery at Godthåbsvej. It starts at origin, with the people who grow it.

That’s why meeting our producers face-to-face is such an important part of our work at Coffee Collective.
Each visit is a chance to strengthen long-term partnerships and begin new ones.

One of our newer relationships is with Luis Camacho. On this trip, we spent a full day on his family farm, Finca La Palma, which stretches across 9 hectares of prime coffee-growing land.

Luis Camacho's journey into coffee farming began with a passion for the crop, and he is now one of the most recognised producers in Southern Huila, producing a myriad of high end lots.

We also returned to Gigante to reconnect with our long-term partners Jaime, Edilfonso and Duver.

In Urrao, we explored potential new partnerships, learning more about the history of the Chiroso variety in the area and tasting the excellent cups it can produce.

For the coming Colombian selection, you can look forward to familiar Colombian coffees with fruity notes and high sweetness, alongside coffees from new collaborations.

Some will be available to everyone, while a few special selections have been reserved exclusively for subscribers.
